The spacious bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed with soft linens, cozy pillows, a Smart TV, and sliding glass doors that open directly onto the covered porch.

The bathroom features a large walk-in shower with plenty of room to get ready for the day or freshen up after hiking, sightseeing, or exploring the area.

Hot Cocoa welcomes dogs! Please be sure to select the pet option when booking so the pet fee is included. We also ask that dogs be kenneled if left alone in the cabin.

When you stay with us, you're not booking with a large management company.

The Boring Stuff (We Tried to Make It Less Boring)

Mountain roads are part of the adventure! The final stretch includes one well-maintained gravel hill. We regularly drive it in a Hyundai Sonata, and most guests have no trouble in a standard vehicle. We recommend arriving before dark if it's your first visit.

Dogs are welcome! Please include them when booking so the pet fee is added correctly. We ask that dogs be kenneled if left alone.

We provide hand soap, dish soap, starter laundry supplies, coffee, basic spices, fresh linens, towels, robes, slippers, and a hair dryer. Please bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and personal items.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the cabin. Ashtrays are provided outside.

Hot Cocoa is conveniently located just off US-74, making it easy to reach Bryson City, Cherokee, and the area's top attractions. Because the cabin sits farther back from the road, outside road noise is typically minimal and only occasionally noticeable. Most guests appreciate the easy access and peaceful setting.

Mountain weather can change quickly, so we recommend purchasing travel insurance if traveling during winter months.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
